Your Pet’s Second-Best Friend

My love for animals developed at a young age and was reinforced every summer when visiting my grandparent's home in San Clemente where my grandmother, Cynthia was a huge animal lover. As co-founder of Friends of San Clemente Animals, my grandmother was an avid animal advocate and I would often go along to share in the adventure of visiting and caring for animals at the shelter.

After graduating from CSU, Chico in 2009 with a BA in Social Work, I moved to San Diego and accepted a job working in the hospitality industry. It was here when I had the opportunity to provide long-term pet/plant/home care to a local, traveling professional and the concept for Chico Katy Did It was born.

In 2018 I returned to Chico to work with a non-profit organization that was restructuring its roles to include traveling nurses. During this transition, it became apparent that quality, trustworthy and reliable pet/plant/home care services were limited in a market that is already underserved.

Chico Katy Did It is proud to have been serving the Chico, Sacramento & Bay Area communities since 2019.
